If Black women legitimately inhabited our world making their needs known…

Our dwellings would be more earth colors, not mountains of cement.

In social media,

we would talk TO each other

not AT each other.

All of us could kiss each other…

even men.

Those with 2 Spirits and varied mental capacities would be celebrated for showing us multiple ways of seeing, instead of being labeled as “not normal” and “abnormal”

Men would have the courage to

LOVE more freely NOT fuck more freely

Women could rule nations if they chose to,

and sexual identification was not static and linear,

but ever flowing

Breast would be beautiful and celebrated not owned and mauled

All children would be loved and grandmothers would live into their hundreds, spitting eternal wisdom

The trees would sing to us and the flowers would be our jewelry

Uhmm… can this ever be?

It is my hope,

my prayer
